The Visitation of the Gods (Reflection)

 

        What the story entitled, "The Visitation of the Gods" by Gilda Cordero Fernando thought me is, no matter how you chose and fight for what is right, if somebody don't want you to contradict them with the truths, you will still remain by their shadow.

          Ms. Noel have been righteous, always choosing what she thinks is true yet her attitude of being like this did not help her. It is because, after the visitation of the superintendent and supervisors, Ms. Noel still takes her place on the lowest rung of the school's hierarchy. The lesson I learned from this story is, no matter how carefully you follow the process of something to get there, if someone does not want your way of making it to the end, you will always lose. It is in all aspects of our lives, especially because equality is hard to earn nowadays.
